ノルウェー/オスロ拠点のポストパンクバンド THE APEが、8/14にLoyal Blood Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Touchy'を公開！
THE APEは、Dead Movie Animals, MAKTKAMPなどのメンバーによって結成されたバンド。
1月にデビューシングル 'grownboyhood.'を発表し、今回が3曲目。来年にはデビューアルバムを発売予定です。
これまでの曲でみせた爆裂にブチギレてるサウンドも最高でしたが、ややメロウで物憂げなこの曲が刺さった。
““Touchy” is a song about getting older and slowly running out of new things to say. It's about being friends with your robot vacuum cleaner, takeaway coupons, movie endings that suddenly make you cry and the uncomfortable realization that the years are moving a lot faster than they used to. There’s no grand political statement and few lessons to be learned. No self-improvement arc. Just a person sitting in the middle of his own life wondering how he got there. Beneath the jokes and self-deprecation is a person who feels increasingly stuck.”
