オランダ/アムステルダム拠点のコンポーザー・プロデューサー・シンガー・パフォーマー Thomas Azierが、6/12にリリースしたニューシングル 'Room of Love'のリリックビデオを公開！

過去12年間で6枚のアルバムをリリースし、オランダのグラミー賞と称されるエジソン賞を2度受賞した独自のスタイルを持つアーティスト。

これまでに Lowlands, Best Kept Secret, Eurockéennes, Montreal Jazzなどに出演してきた一方で、Stromae, Faber, Hang Youth/IJSLAND, Anoukといったアーティストへの楽曲提供やプロデュースも行なってます。また、彼の楽曲はイヴ・サンローランや映画『イコライザー THE FINAL』など、様々なメディアで使用されてます。

"Room Of Love is an exploration of softness and sensuality inside of a harsh reality. I tried to render the tension between trauma and tenderness, the ambiguity and contrast that co-exist but are rarely voiced in the same breath. I write about moments when the daily routine of life bleeds into something magical, something of splendor or grandeur. Moments when dream logic applies and earthly laws don’t seem to matter. I am walking across volcanic rock, taking in the view of lava spewing from a crater.”

'Room of Love'は、過酷な現実の中にある柔らかさと官能性の探求です。トラウマと優しさの間の緊張感、同時に存在しながらもめったに同じ呼吸で語られることのない曖昧さとコントラストを表現しようとしました。日常のルーティンが、何か魔法のような、輝きや壮大さを持ったものへと滲み出ていく瞬間について書いています。夢の論理が適用され、地上の法則などどうでもよくなるような瞬間です。私は火山岩の上を歩き、火口から噴き出す溶岩の景色を眺めているのです。
