leo.、'never enough, never fair'のMVを公開

イングランド拠点のフォークポップアーティスト leo.が、2/27にリリースしたニューシングル 'never enough, never fair'のMVを公開！

leo.はポルトガル出身のシンガーソングライター。

5歳からクラシック音楽の訓練を受け、2019年発表のシングル 'despair'が4000万ストリームを超える大ヒット。2021年以降は複数のEPを発表し、2023年にはデビューアルバム『a new one』をリリースしてます。

プロデュース・ミックスは Ed Allen (Opheliah, Gigi Wilde)、マスタリングは Tom Woodheadが担当。

“"never enough, never fair" is about how one's outlook can get in the way of joy. it's a very visceral and specific feeling - being in your early 20s and feeling like nothing is quite right. none of the sunny days are sunny enough, none of the social moments are social enough, and everyone seems to have it all figured out so much more than you. it's as if you're always missing out on the best parts of it all, as if they can only happen when you're not around.”

'never enough, never fair'は、自分の見方が喜びを邪魔してしまうことがある、という歌です。20代前半で、何もかもがうまくいかないと感じる、とても本能的で具体的な感情です。晴れた日はどれも十分に晴れていない、社交の場はどれも十分に社交的ではない、そして誰もが自分よりずっと多くのことを理解しているように見える。まるで、物事の最高の部分を常に見逃しているかのようで、まるで自分がいない時にしか最高の部分が起きないかのようです。
