アイルランド出身のオルタナティヴロックバンド The Altered Hoursが、9/9にPizza Pizza Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Turn Away'を公開！
2010年の結成以来、アイルランドのアンダーグラウンドシーンを代表するバンドの一つとして高い評価を得ており、The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Pop Groupといったレジェンドや、地元の後輩 Fontaines D.C.と共演。
Fontaines D.C.に関しては、ギターボーカルの Cathal MacGabhannはライブギタリストとして彼らのツアーに参加し、日本にも来たことがあります。
'Turn Away'は11/7発売のニューアルバム『The Altered Hours』収録曲で、プロデュースは Julie McLarnon (New Order, Lankum, The Vaselines)。
4年振りのアルバム。セルフタイトルの3rdはだいたい名盤の法則を発動させてますね。サイケロック、ポストパンク、シューゲイズ、何やってもかっこいい人達です。
