イングランド/ブリストル拠点のスラッカーロックバンド The Cindysが、7/18にBreakfast Recordsからリリースしたデビューシングル 'Eternal Pharmacy'のMVを公開！
制作は Jack Ogborne, Finlay Burrows。
The Cindysはマルチインストゥルメンタリスト Jack Ogborneを中心に結成し、Naima Bock, Finlay Burrows, Belishasのメンバーが在籍してます。
'Eternal Pharmacy'は11/7発売予定のデビューミニアルバム収録曲。
以前は Bingo Fury名義で活動していたミュージシャンの新バンド。デビューシングル 'Big Rain'から実験的なサウンドと独自の世界観を確立していて、新曲を出せばいつもチェックしてました。
今回のバンドは C86、Flying Nunなど80'sインディーからインスピレーションを得たそうで、シンプルなソングライティングが光ってます。
“Before the Cindys, I spent the beginning of my 20’s frequently on tour as a sound engineer. I learnt the trade working at The Louisiana in Bristol, an intimate 100 cap room. Within 6 months of touching a desk (due to a couple of lucky encounters) I began touring extensively, at times working in 3,000 capacity rooms and concert halls, with very little experience. Eternal Pharmacy was written about the first proper European tour I went on. Seeing places I never would have been able to see otherwise, being spoiled by promoters with 3 course meals and unlimited drink, seemingly living a life of excess while simultaneously being totally broke. The song was an attempt to get a firm grip on the rapid change happening around me.”
