イングランド/ロンドン拠点のシンガーソングライター Theo Adlerが、8/18にリリースしたニューシングル 'Old City Souls'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Theo Adler, James Wingfield。
'Old City Souls'は11/11発売のデビューEP『Revealer』収録曲。往年のブリットロックを感じさせる良曲です。
レコーディングは、Tears for Fearsが設立し、The Smiths, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Paul Wellerなどが使用した住宅兼スタジオ The Wool Hall。現在の持ち主 Luke Potashnick (Christopher, Jamie Lawson)がプロデュースを務めてます。
“I wrote this thinking that some things can be better expressed through music than words. The main riff is a major/minor riff, expressing that feeling. With the drums we wanted to go for something fast and I was hoping to go down the drum and bass route, as I was a teenage fan of the genre”
言葉よりも音楽で表現した方がいいものがあると思って書きました。メインのリフはメジャー／マイナーのリフで、その気持ちを表現しています。ドラムは疾走感のあるものにしたかったし、10代の頃からドラムンベースのファンだったから、ドラムンベースの路線で行きたかったんです。
