ニューヨーク/ブルックリン拠点のロックバンド Uniformが、9/11にSacred Bones Recordsからリリースするニューアルバム『Shame』より、先行シングル 'Delco'を公開！
昨年のThe Bodyとのコラボアルバムを経て1月に発表したシングル 'Awakening'がゴリッゴリのEBMだったので次はそんな感じの作風なのかと思いきや極端な変化はなく「Uniformを聴こう」と思った時に欲しい音の更新版でした。慣れ親しんできたこの終末感も今はまた一際鈍く輝きますね。
メンバーのBen Greenbergはエンジニアとして第一線で活躍してますが、今回のミックスは Randall Dunnが担当してます。しかもこの二人、Jóhann Jóhannssonが手掛けた『Mandy』のサントラ(大好き！)の裏方もやってたんですね。
