この曲は、長く傷つけられる関係の中にいる若い女性が、周囲の冷たい視線と向き合いながらも、自分の道を選び取っていく姿を追っています。困難や世間の目を乗り越え、最終的にグロリアはその関係から抜け出す決断を下し、他人の意見に左右されず自分の人生を歩み始めるのです。
