イングランド出身のプロデューサー・アーティスト Monroが、5/22にPlatoonからリリースしたニューシングル 'Ever Since You Said I'm Leaving'を公開！
Monroはグラミー賞とジュノー賞にノミネートしたソングライターで、Masego, NewJeans, V, Jhené Aikoなどの楽曲に参加してます。
5年振りの新曲となった4月のシングルも良かった人。プロダクションの質がすごいです。
“Musically I’m trying to blend all the different styles of music that I’ve been inspired by recently and the sounds I grew up on - I wanted the different music sections to represent the emotions you go through when losing someone you love. Going from chaotic, to reflection, to the outro where it feels slow, sad and coming to terms with the fact you may never see this person you loved again.”
音楽的には、最近インスピレーションを受けたさまざまなスタイルと、自分が育ってきた音を融合させようとしています。曲の各セクションでは、大切な人を失ったときに感じる感情の流れを表現したかったんです。混乱から始まり、内省へと移り、アウトロでは、ゆっくりとした悲しさの中で、その人にもう二度と会えないかもしれないという現実を受け入れていくような感覚を描いています。
