メリーランド州ボルチモア拠点のサイケデリックポップアーティスト Modern Nomadが、10/13にリリースしたニューシングル 'Come My Way'を公開！
11/17発売のニューアルバム『For the Love Of』収録曲。先月の 'Where Do I Go?'に続いて良いですね。
アルバム制作時のインスピレーションに Paul And Linda McCartney『Ram』、The Beach Boys『Pet Sounds』、Harry Nilsson『Aerial Ballet』を挙げ、制作については以下のように語ってます。
“I remember hearing Harry Nilsson's producer, Richard Perry, say that they set off to make the most 'Beatle quality' album they could make at the time and ended up with Nilsson Schmilsson. I figured 'That seems like a good idea, why not give that a go' and did the best I could.”
Harry NilssonのプロデューサーのRichard Perryが、当時最も "ビートルズ・クオリティ"のアルバムを作るために出発し、『Nilsson Schmilsson』に行き着いた、と言っていたのを覚えている。私は、"それはいいアイディアだ、やってみようじゃないか"と思って、できる限りのことをしたんだ。
