イングランド/サウスエンド＝オン＝シー拠点のオルタナティヴロックバンド Asbestos Salesmanが、6/11にAsbestos Bastard Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'bagalamb'を公開！
Asbestos Salesmanは Jess Siggins, Joshua Hixsonの2人組。
2023年に活動を始め、今年1月にデビューアルバム『post-sludge, post-britain, post-slop』を発表。今回の新曲は近日発売予定のセカンドアルバム収録曲です。
展開の読めなさと音の面白さ。アスベスト・セールスマンって名前もだいぶやばい。

この曲は、2025年を生きることの混沌、葛藤、そして罪悪感をかなり正確に描いています。周囲がまるで交通事故のようにめちゃくちゃになっている中でも、有害なポジティブ思考と過剰な個人主義文化が、「痛みに耐えて笑顔を見せろ」「成功するには努力し続けろ」と押しつけてくる。そして、「体型の維持も忘れるなよ」とも…。- Jess Siggins
