カナダ/モントリオール出身のサイケデリックロックバンド Elephant Stoneが、3/25に Elephants On Parade・Little Cloudからリリースしたニューシングル 'Everything Evil'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Vincent Gauthier。
ソングライター・シタール奏者 Rishi Dhirを中心に、2006年から活動を続けるバンド。
The High Dialsでのキャリアを経て、2009年にデビューアルバム『The Seven Seas』を発表。これまでに The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Beckらと共演し、The Black Angels, The Earlies, The Horrorsのメンバーからなるバンド MIENでも活動してます。
'Everything Evil'は、8/28発売予定の10thアルバム『ASHA』収録曲。
新曲は意外なプロトパンクでした。「サイケデリック」という言葉に縛られずに、というかジャンル固有のらしさみたいなものはとっくに通過した感じがして、特に近年の作品が好きですね、あ、でも初期の作品はパワーポップとして聴いても良いし断定できないか。祝結成20周年ということで、どっかのタイミングで全部聴き直したいな。
