オーストラリア/シドニー拠点の Darren Morilla, Oliver Dela Cruzによるディスコ・ダンスポップデュオ Midnight Pool Partyが、7/16にリリースしたニューシングル 'WHAT AM I GONNA DO?'を公開！

ここ10年の間に夏の私的定番BGMとしてスタメンで活躍してる面々。「あの曲を聴くとあのときを思い出す」みたいな感じじゃないんだけど、毎夏新曲を供給してくれるのが嬉しい。

高速道路でこういう曲を聴きながら、つなぎ目と照明がグルーヴに馴染んだときって気持ちいいよね。そんな夏の記憶の中にある音楽。今年もよろしく。

“This song is about questioning if you will wait for someone who isn’t sure that they want to be with you, or if you should just move on and do your own thing. After speaking with Ollie about recent events in his life, and personal issues, I (Darren) wantedto put myself in his shoes and write from his perspective. Although exaggerated in many ways, just like all our songs, it’s definitely inspired by real life events.” – Midnight Pool Party
