MarMar、'You're My One ft. arnii'を公開

コロラド州コロラドスプリングス拠点のエレクトロニックプロデューサー MarMarが、4/16にリリースしたニューシングル 'You're My One feat. arnii'を公開！

近日発売予定のEP収録曲で、メルボルン拠点のアーティスト arniiを迎えたボーカル曲です。

UKガラージとフューチャー・ハウスの要素を融合させた活気あふれるダンスミュージックを展開する新進気鋭の人物。

Fred Again.., Duskus, Chet Porter辺りが好きな人におすすめです。

“This song has been a special idea to me for such a long while. I knew it needed vocals, so I actually wrote and recorded some a bit ago that didn’t make the cut. It’s funny because some of the vocal chops actually made it into the final. I knew I had to bring arnii on board to write and record something. We decided to create this story of a girl who is kinda explaining to her friends that, after a long string of bad relationships, she’s found her ‘One.’ Then later in the song, it shifts to her talking to this guy, telling him how she feels and how she loves who he is.”

この曲は、ずっと前から自分にとって特別なアイデアでした。ボーカルが必要だとわかっていたので、実は以前にいくつか書いて録音していたんですが、最終的には使いませんでした。面白いことに、その時のボーカルチョップのいくつかが最終バージョンに使われているんです。そこで、どうしてもarniiに参加してもらって、何かを書いて録音してもらう必要があると思いました。私たちは、ある女の子が、たくさんの悪い恋愛の末に“運命の人”を見つけたって、友達に説明しているという物語を作ることにしました。そして曲の後半では、その女の子がその男性に直接話しかけて、自分の気持ちや、彼のありのままを愛しているということを伝える展開になっています。
