ノルウェー/オスロ拠点の Silje Espevikによるソロプロジェクト Yndlingが、8/1にSpirit Goth Recordsからリリースしたデビューアルバム『Mood Booster』より、'Make Me Want You'を公開！
ドリームポップ的なアプローチの見本市で、聴き応えのあるアルバムでした。
この曲自体は去年辺りにシングルで出してた気がするから新しいわけではないけど、アルバム終盤で聴いたときの新鮮さが印象に残ったので記録しとく。
“‘Mood Booster’ is the result of my observations and musings as I’ve tried to navigate my own personal relationships, both platonic and romantic ones. I find it weird how we as humans make big things seem small and small things seem big by how we talk about them and how everybody seems to want to change and stay the same all at once.”
『Mood Booster』は、プラトニックな関係もロマンチックな関係も含めて、私自身の個人的な人間関係をナビゲートしようとしたときの観察と考察の結果だ。私たち人間は、話し合い方によって大きなことを小さく見せたり、小さなことを大きく見せたり、誰もが一度に変わったり変わらなかったりしたがるように見えるのは不思議なことだと思う。
