イングランド/ニューカッスル拠点のインディーロックバンド Kitesが、8/2にTrewhitt Road Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Wake Up'を公開！
3月のシングル 'Innocence & Gold'が印象的だったバンド。
イントロのギターリフからコーラスのメロディまでの流れが素晴らしい。良い曲書いてます。
“Wake Up is a song weaved from the fabric of childhood nostalgia, a portal into the dreamlike wonder that cocooned us as children. A warm embrace to reassure us that we can always retreat to the safety of our memories, and sometimes, we'd rather stay there.”
'Wake Up'は、子供時代のノスタルジアから紡ぎ出された曲であり、子供の頃の私たちを包み込んでくれた夢のような不思議への入り口である。いつでも安全な思い出の中に引きこもることができるということを再確認させてくれる温かい抱擁、そしてむしろそこに留まりたいと思うこともある。
