スウェーデン/ヨーテボリ拠点のドリームポップバンド Beverly Killsが、4/26にWelfare Sounds & Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Sunset Drive'を公開！
2022年のデビューアルバム『Kaleido』から国外でも注目を集め、SXSWに出演しメキシコでツアーを行ってます。
“It's one of the first songs we wrote for our upcoming sophomore album, and it cemented some of the sound we wanted to work with. The song title is taken from a conversation we overheard in Austin during SXSW last year: 'there’s a White Claw party at Sunset Drive!'. It felt like we were in an American college movie. An animated reality. The song is about getting in over your head, and how you eventually can drink so many units of alcohol that it stops being fun.”
この曲は、今度の2ndアルバムのために最初に書いた曲のひとつで、私たちがやりたかったサウンドの一部を固めたものなんだ。曲のタイトルは、昨年のSXSW中にオースティンで耳にした会話から取ったものだ：「サンセット・ドライブでWhite Clawのパーティーがあるよ！」。アメリカの大学映画の中にいるような気分だった。アニメーションのような現実。この曲は、自分の頭ではどうにもならなくなって、最終的には楽しくなくなるほどたくさんのお酒を飲んでしまうことを歌っているんだ。
