Vacations、'Next Exit'のMVを公開

オーストラリア/ニューカッスル出身のインディーポップバンド Vacationsが、4/14にNettwerkからリリースしたニューシングル 'Next Exit'のMVを公開！

Vacationsは、リードシンガー Campbell Burnsのソロプロジェクト・バンドとして2016年に始まり、Jake Johnson, Nate Delizzotti, Joseph Van Lierを加えた4人組。

2018年にデビューアルバム『Changes』、2020年にセカンド・アルバム『Forever In Bloom』を発表し、今回のシングルはそれ以来の新曲です。

彼らの音楽を好きなったのがEP『Vibes』の時期のヨレてまったりしたサウンドで、それから徐々にブラッシュアップされていく過程で少しだけ興味が薄れていったのですが、たまに思い返して聴く最新の曲はその頃以上に最高のメロディで輝きを放ってますね。

“Conceptually, it takes on the idea of being stuck in a loop of repetitive behaviour. Feeling stagnant and unsure of the future ahead. You could easily draw this to us as a band navigating COVID, or on a more personal level with relationships between friends or romantic partners. I always like the idea of multiple interpretations.
