The Psychedelic Birthday Party、'Dream Ugly'を公開

オランダ/ナイメーヘン拠点のインディーポップバンド The Psychedelic Birthday Partyが、5/19にリリースしたニューシングル 'Dream Ugly'を公開！

The Psychedelic Birthday Partyはソングライター Kevyn van der Lindenによる名義で、彼を中心としたバンド。内省的な歌詞と、感情の底の方から持ち上げるような演奏が魅力的です。

どことなく Conor Oberstや彼周辺のバンドに近い空気感があって、最近で言えば彼と Phoebe Bridgersによるデュオ Better Oblivion Community Centerが好きな人におすすめです。

“For someone who doesn’t like conflict and is often avoidant of it, the last couple of years have been frustrating to say the least. Many of us have seen family, friends and even lovers lose touch with one another, or burn bridges completely. Like a kid, witnessing a parents divorce. A mediator unable to mediate.
