オーストラリア出身のインディーポップバンド The Moving Stillsが、10/10にSureshakerからリリースしたニューシングル 'Best Friend'を公開！
11/24発売のニューアルバム『Wabi Sabi』収録曲。
昨年のデビューアルバム以降、ライブバンドとして怒涛の本数をこなし、国内のあらゆるフェスに出演し、Beach Fossils, Nothing But Thievesといった海外バンドのサポートを務め、ラジオ局 Triple Jの人気コーナー Like A Versionに登場(Ladyhawke 'My Delirium'のカバーを披露)したりと、充実した活動が目立った1年強...では終わらずに、すぐさま新作リリース＋ツアー発表というタフっぷり。しかもその間にソロ活動してるメンバー (Mike Rowave)もいるし。
“Best Friend is about feeling super positive in a relationship. It was a bit of a snapshot of life at the time. The chorus talks about the organic way certain things or relationships can come together, and when it’s so effortless and natural, it can feel so great. We wanted to make the production of the track feel playful yet also carry the emotion and themes of the song. Hopefully you can feel that when you listen to it and maybe even inspire you to seek those positive themes in life.” - Tommy
