ボストン・ハンブルク・ミュンヘンを拠点に活動するインディーポップバンド Stray Fossaが、6/24にBroken Palaceからリリースしたニューシングル 'Blossomer'を公開！
8/22発売のニューアルバムのタイトル曲。
アルバムのアートワークは Thee Sacred Souls, Sufjan Stevens, Thundercat, U2などを手掛けてきた人気ビジュアルアーティスト Melissa Santamaríaが担当。
アコギとエレキの組み合わせ、うねるベースライン、点のくっきりしたドラム、憂いのあるメロディー。どこを取っても好きな要素だけの良い曲。
“Blossomer is about the ebb and flow of relationships, personal growth, and seasonal allergies. I am sensitive to the dust that collects in winter, my wife has it bad with pollen in the summer. So, we take turns struggling, being present. Sharing a life is moving through these shifts together and tension is a sign you’re still in it, like an immune response. Just not good in the studio. Will spent three days straight pressure washing the dust out of old carpets to use for sound dampening to record our new album.”
