“After years of making what I thought people wanted me to make, I decided to take time and remember why I love making music, listening to some of my favorite influences like Queen, David Bowie, and Tame Impala. During quarantine, I had the idea to my hook "I wonder if I was a spaceman, would I still be a waste of space, man?" and spent many following months slowly unraveling the song into what it is. An indie rock opera about someone who feels like an alien in their own home.”
