カリフォルニア州サンディエゴ拠点のインディーロックバンド Nite Tidesが、1/1にThe Hideoutからリリースしたニューシングル 'Time'を公開！
Nite Tidesは Ryan Pooleによるソロプロジェクトとして始まったバンドで、現在は Nathan Sepulveda, Zach Ummer, Coe Schneiderを加えた4人組。昨夏にデビューシングルを出したばかりのニューカマーです。
サーフポップ全開の初期数曲が好きで聴いたり取り上げたりしていたので、今回の'Time'のようなスケール感のある曲が出てくるのは予想外でした。かなり壮大に広げていった展開が投げっぱなしではなく綺麗に収まる後半が良い。
“I started writing this song 3 years ago, long before Nite Tides started. I’ve been holding it back, because It’s a very personal song, and I wanted to make sure I got it exactly right. “Time” is for anyone with estranged loved ones. I wrote it for a very specific family member who put me through an insane situation.
