北アイルランド/ベルファスト拠点のシンガーソングライター Nathan O'Reganが、5/14にZenith Cafeからリリースしたニューシングル 'Better Days'を公開！
9/19発売のデビューアルバム『Olive Branch』収録曲。
共同作曲に Gareth Dunlop、共同プロデュースに Michael Keeneyが参加。
アイルランド/コーク出身の Nathan O'Reganは音楽一家に生まれ育ち、ラジオのコンテストで優勝した後にわずか16歳でメジャーレーベルと契約。しかしキャリアは停滞し、デビュープロジェクトは頓挫。4年後には契約を打ち切られるという挫折を味わう。そこからベルファストへ移り、ライブハウスで腕を磨き、才能豊かなアーティストたちに数多く出会い、地元拠点のインディーレーベル Zenith Cafeと契約して今に至る。
紆余曲折あった人の新しい家族へ向けた誠実な歌ですね。
“It was written just before we had Arthur, and we were living in this tiny little house just outside of Belfast. It felt like we were boxed in,” “You couldn’t step in a straight line, you were climbing over things to get anywhere, and we just didn’t know where a baby was even going to fit. I just wanted to tell her everything was going to be ok eventually and to keep the faith.”
