Lazygirl、'Withdrawals'を公開

イングランド/リヴァプール拠点のオルタナティヴポップアーティスト Lazygirlが、11/17にリリースしたニューシングル 'Withdrawals'を公開！

共同制作は Rich Harris-Bond (Wise Tree Studios)。

2017年にデビューシングル '2Know'を発表し、メンタルヘルスをテーマにした楽曲群で話題のアーティスト。これまでに Eurovision Villageのメインステージや Liverpool Sound Cityに出演してます。

ハネ感、コード進行、メロディのバランスがめっちゃ気持ちいいやつ。

“Mental health has always been at the forefront of my writing. I still rely on my medication and, at times, resent that – the longer that thing is around, the worse it feels when you’re not around it. In a way, it feels like a relationship, but it’s also a boring part of my daily routine. So, I had the idea of writing a ‘love song’ about something ordinary, something with existential lyrics which could be read into as a codependent relationship or literally as just forgetting to take your pills. It’s my favourite song I’ve ever done, and I hope that even if people don’t relate to its meaning, it’s a fun song they can boogie along to!”

メンタルヘルスは、常に私の執筆活動の最前線にあります。私はいまだに薬に頼っているし、時にはそれに憤りを感じることもあります。ある意味、人間関係のようなものですが、私の日常生活の退屈な部分でもあります。だから、共依存的な関係とも、文字通り薬を飲み忘れることとも読み取れるような、実存的な歌詞を持つ、平凡な何かについての「ラブソング」を書くことを思いついたんです。今まで作った曲の中で一番好きな曲ですし、たとえその意味に共感できなくても、一緒にブギーできる楽しい曲であってほしいです！
