ロンドン出身で現在はベルリン・チューリッヒを拠点に活動するオルタナティヴポップバンド Kerala Dustが、12/2にPlay It Again Samからリリースしたニューシングル 'Future Visions'のMVを公開！
Kerala Dustは Edmund Kenny, Harvey Grant, Lawrence Howarthの3人組。Âme, Monolink, Ben Böhmerなどのモダンでディープなハウスミュージックとブルース・アメリカーナを融合させたサウンドで人気のトリオです。
'Future Visions'は2/17発売のニューアルバム『Violet Drive』収録曲。
2019年のヒット曲'Closer'や下にあるタイトル曲など、４つ打ちにヒプノティックなメロディを加えるのが基本なのでこの曲はかなりバンド感のある仕上がり。それでいて当然こっち寄りでもめちゃかっこいい。

“There was an old mellotron from the 1960s in this studio we were working from in Berlin, and one night I started working on this descending chord pattern, which then became ‘Future Visions’. The song is about lying awake, late at night, thinking about the things you’re going to say to this person that you’re hopelessly in love with, and how you wish you could get closer to them.”
