DEADSET、'The Art of Pointscoring'のMVを公開

イングランド/キングストン・アポン・ハル拠点のインディーロックバンド DEADSETが、5/26にMan Demolish Recordsからリリースしたデビューシングル 'The Art of Pointscoring'のMVを公開！

ディレクターは Joe Brodie。

DEADSETは James Massey, Sam Mellors, Adam Arnold, Rio Campbellの4人組。前身バンド Girl Afraidが解散し、2022年に結成したニューカマーです。

“The song is an earnest outlook on the toxic environment that can be birthed when you’re struggling to coordinate mental health issues. The apathy you experience in which you feel empathy but struggle to act upon it. It’s an ugly subject but writing about it in a vulnerable and genuine way helps to process and accept your own falsities and mistakes. But also accepting a situation you can’t change when someone else is feeling the same. Accepting both parties can make mistakes. It can help me learn vulnerability and forgive others, whilst also learning how to change bad behavior patterns myself.”

この曲は、メンタルヘルスの問題を調整するのに苦労しているときに生まれ得る有害な環境についての切実な見通しです。共感を覚えながらも、それを行動に移せないでいる無気力さを経験することになる。醜いテーマですが、傷つきやすい本物の方法で書くことで、自分自身の虚偽や間違いを処理し、受け入れることができます。しかし、他の誰かが同じことを感じているときに、変えられない状況を受け入れることも必要です。両者が間違いを犯す可能性があることを受け入れること。脆弱性を学び、他人を許す一方で、自分自身の悪い行動パターンを変える方法を学ぶことができる。
