Josaleigh Pollett、'Bed of Quiet'を公開

ユタ州ソルトレイクシティ拠点のシンガーソングライター Josaleigh Pollettが、7/14にAudio Antiheroからリリースしたニューシングル 'Bed of Quiet'を公開！

7/24発売のニューアルバム『If I Let It Quiet』収録曲。

長年のコラボレーターである Jordan Watko（Crowd Shy）がプロデュースを手掛けた作品で、この曲には Chris Walla (ex-Death Cab for Cutie)から提供されたサンプルが使用されてます。

感情の機微を深く掘り下げつつ、通常のバンド編成にエレクトロニックなテクスチャーやあれこれをレイヤーする手腕が優れていて、Indigo De Souza, Half Waif辺りが好きな人におすすめです。

“Bed of Quiet is an over-thinker's anthem. A song for the sleepless, and the hours spent playing and replaying scenarios on a loop in your brain where there is no right decision, digging for a yes or a no in a mountain of perhaps. We wanted the production to feel like it belonged in the middle of the night, when you're not quite yet dreaming, but suspended above your body like a projected film of the last few week's events you can't stop watching, playing too loud for sleeping.”

'Bed of Quiet'は、考えすぎてしまう人たちのための賛歌です。眠れない人々や、頭の中で正解のない状況を何度も繰り返し思い返し、無数の『もしかしたら』の中から答えを探し続ける時間について歌っています。私たちは、この曲のプロダクションが、まだ夢の中には入っていないものの、自分の身体の上に浮かびながら、ここ数週間の出来事を映し出す映画を延々と見せられているような、そんな深夜の空気を持つものになってほしいと考えていました。その映像は眠るにはあまりにも大きな音で再生され続けているのです。
