イングランド/マーゲイト拠点のインディーポップアーティスト Charlie Hannahが、6/13にGare du Nord・Toothpaste Worldwideからリリースしたニューアルバム『Tortured Genius』より、'Kansas'を公開！
Charlie Hannahはソングライター・プロデューサー・ミュージックセラピスト。
何度か記事にしてきた Xav Clarkeとバンド Itchy Teethを組んでおり、2人とも元Feltの Lawrenceによるバンド Mozart Estateのメンバーでもあります。
そんなレジェンドと一緒に行動しながらソロアーティストとして6枚目のアルバムを出す体力と創造力がすごくて、当然のように良い内容です。素朴な音、ひねりの効いたコード進行、そしてグッドメロディー。Randy Newman, Martin Newellが好きな人におすすめです。
