Adam Hopper、'Free To Roam'のMVを公開

イングランド/マンチェスター出身のシンガーソングライター Adam Hopperが、8/15にPipcat Recordsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Free To Roam'のMVを公開！

ディレクターは Catherine Jablonski。

Adam Hopperは、2022年に解散したポストパンクバンド Blanketmanの元メンバーで、昨年11月にデビューシングル 'Beauty In Sadness'を発表したニューカマーです。

'Free To Roam'のプロデュースは Rob Kirwan (Hozier, U2, PJ Harvey)。

すでに The Lounge Society, Langkamer, Saul Adamczewski (Fat White Family)と共演していて、今後も目が離せない人物。前述のバンドからは想像できなかった音楽だけど、かなり良い曲書いてます。

“When I’m feeling like hot garbage, I find that walking in the hills with a loved one can be one of the best salves. Free To Roam was half a song for a long time, I had the verses but was struggling for a chorus. Around the same time, I had written a silly song about my love of Sonic the Hedgehog with the chorus “blue, beautiful blue”. I shoehorned it in and by God it worked.”

熱いゴミのような気分のときは、愛する人と丘を歩くのが最高の癒しになる。'Free To Roam'は長い間、半分曲のようなもので、詩はできたがコーラスに苦労していた。同じ頃、私はソニック・ザ・ヘッジホッグへの愛を歌った、「blue, beautiful blue」というコーラスのくだらない曲を書いていた。それを押し込んだら、なんとうまくいったんだ。
