Otracami、'Perfect Reach'を公開

ニューヨーク/ブルックリン拠点のシンガー・ソングライター Camila Ortizによる名義 Otracamiが、3/5にFigure & Groundからリリースしたニューシングル 'Perfect Reach'を公開！

3/20発売のセカンドアルバム『Runoff』収録曲。

ソングライティングスクール School of Song主催の Adrianne Lenkerによるワークショップを受けたことがきっかけで出来た曲。以前記事にした J.S. Mahlonも受けてましたね。

“The song is about circling back to the other place - when it's so dead of winter, things just need to play out in your head in a really full way. And that other place can be scary too. Things feel so stuck that you start building out another dimension and playing things out there.”

この曲は、別の場所へ戻ってくることについて歌っている。真冬の真っ只中、頭の中で物事が本当に豊かに展開していく必要がある時。そして、その別の場所は恐ろしい場所でもある。物事が行き詰まっているように感じて、別の次元を構築し、そこで物事を繰り広げ始める。
