オーストラリア/パース拠点のフォークロックバンド Lloyd and The Leftoversが、7/11にリリースしたニューシングル 'Spin The Wheel'を公開！
8/8発売のデビューアルバム収録曲。
The Band, Little Feat方面のニューカマー。前回のシングル 'Tried it on Tuesday'を聴いたときからアルバムの発表が楽しみだったんだよね。
“I want the song to give a sense of longing for someone and weighing up feelings for someone who lives that same life of working on the road, always being far away from home and out of service, counting the days until you can get back and lift all the weight of these feelings off your chest.”
この曲には、誰かを想う切なさを込めたかったんです。そして、その相手も同じようにツアー生活を送り、いつも家から遠く離れた場所にいて、連絡も取れない─そんな状況の中で、お互いに再会できる日を指折り数えながら、胸に溜まった想いを解き放つことを願っている。そんな気持ちを表現しています。
