イングランド/ロンドン拠点のドリームポップバンド Mannequin Flowersが、8/7にMannequin Recordingsからリリースしたデビューシングル 'Heartbeat'のMVを公開！
Mannequin Flowersは Isadora, Lucaを中心に2023年に結成し、Huw, Luciを加えた4人組。
Cocteau Twins, The Cureや、My Bloody Valentine, The Cranberriesなどに影響を受けたというニューカマー。
これが初めてとは思えないほどクラシックな雰囲気を持っています。とりあえず次の新曲も間違いなくチェックしたくなる何かがありますね。
“This song is about not loving someone back. It's a modern twist on the heartbreak song. It captures the guilt and the questioning of unrequited love.”
この曲は、誰かを愛し返せないことについて歌っている。失恋ソングを現代風にアレンジしたものだ。片思いの罪悪感と疑問が表現されている。
