11/6発売のニューアルバム『Saltmätargatan』収録曲。
塗りたくったリバーブまみれのドリームポップではなく、陶酔感のみ抽出したドライなドリームポップ。無常というか寂寥というか、なんとも形容しがたいジャンルのライン際を攻めるバンドです。
“"Dust" is a little different from how we usually write music. So you could say that we made our own version or a further development of Pierre's original work. The song was recorded in Petter's studio in Dalarna. On "Dust" we really tried to capture the room we were playing in, and we think it comes across. The sound is drier and bouncier than the other songs on the record. You can almost hear the ceiling beams creak.”
'Dust'は普段の私たちの音楽の作り方とは少し違います。ですから私たち自身のバージョン、あるいはPierreのオリジナル作品のさらなる発展形を作ったと言えるでしょう。この曲はダーラナにあるPetterのスタジオで録音されました。'Dust'では演奏している部屋の雰囲気を本当に捉えようとしましたし、それが伝わっていると思います。音はアルバムの他の曲よりもドライで弾む感じがあります。天井の梁がきしむ音さえ聞こえるようです。
