ドイツ/ハンブルグ拠点のソウル・R&Bバンド The KBCSが、11/5にSonar Kollektivからリリースしたニューシングル 'Pockets feat. Olivier St. Louis'を公開！
The KBCSは Lucas Kochbeck, Nicolas Börger, Lars Cölln, Daniel Stritzkeの4人組。それぞれがプロのセッションミュージシャンとして活動しているからか、一聴したときの安心感やどっしり構えた演奏力に驚きました。
ゲストボーカルの Olivier St. Louisはベルリン拠点のミュージシャンで、これまでに Oddisee, Bibio, Onra, Hudson Mohawkeなどの作品に携わってきました。
'Pockets'は11/26発売のニューアルバム『Color Box』収録曲。アルバムでは彼のほかに、J.Lamotta, Lui Hill, Nneka, Vivie Ann (Bowie)が参加してます。
