昨年11月発表のEP『Luna』以来となる新曲。
オルタナカントリーやエモも含まれているようなパフォーマンスが好きで、特にラップスチール兼キーボードが常駐メンバーにいるのが大きいと思います。
“Love is something that I’ve always wanted to get right. I always told myself I could compromise in different aspects of my life, but I would never compromise on love. Growing up, I always wondered how you’d know when you found the right person, but it was pretty obvious to me when I met Isabel. This song is something I wrote right after I asked her to marry me, and realized that the purest love I’ve felt came with no fanfare and settled in my heart quietly but familiarly. This song is about the way our love feels simpler and truer than I could have ever imagined. It’s a reflection on all the poems I wrote as a kid, nights I stayed awake thinking about love, and songs I wrote for someone that didn’t match the feeling in my heart yet.
