イングランド/エクセター出身の Soot Spriteが、10/11にSpecialist Subject RecordsからリリースするEP『Sharp Tongue』より、'Bleed'を公開！
Soot Spriteはシンガー・ギタリストのElise Cookによるソロプロジェクトとして始まったバンドで、現在は Ross Becker, Matt Tillerを加えた3人組。『Sharp Tongue』は昨年発表したデビューEP『Comfort In Concrete』に続く2作目です。
切なさを帯びたイントロを経て陰りのある美メロが降り注ぐ大好きなやつ。しかも中盤でぐわーっとノイジーな展開を挟んで戻るところもハイパーかっこいい。うねうね歩くベースラインと快活なドラムもいいよね。ん〜100点！
