ニューヨーク出身のインディーポップバンド Solid Gooldが、12/13にリリースしたニューシングル 'I Can See You Clearly'のMVを公開！
ディレクターは Stephen Jacobson。
Solid Gooldはキーボード奏者・ソングライター・コンポーザー Albert Gooldを中心に結成し、Andrew Forman, Steve Conroy, Cory Metrickを含む4人組。
複雑なコード進行とひねりのあるキーチェンジをかなりアップテンポな演奏の中で繰り出しつつ、スーパーキャッチーなメロディーで最高です。音楽性は違うけど、ニュアンス的にブライアン・ウィルソンの趣がある。
ミックスは Aaron Gandia、マスタリングは巨匠 Bob Katzが担当。
“The lyrics are ambiguous but allude to a feeling of one’s expectations and opinion of someone (whether it be a crush, ex lover, or a new friend) being let down after a period of being far too available and conciliatory.”
歌詞は曖昧だが、誰か（それが片思い相手であれ、元恋人であれ、新しい友人であれ）に対する期待や評価が、あまりに手に入りすぎて融和的だった期間の後に失望させられたという気持ちを暗示している。
