Ruth Lyonこと Ruth Pattersonは、フォークロックバンド Holy Moly & The Crackersのボーカリストで、コンサート会場および音楽教育センター Sage Gatesheadのアーティスト・イン・レジデンスや、障害のあるファンやアーティストを支援する慈善団体 Attitude Is Everythingの大使を務めてます。
'Clown'は11/25発売のEP『Direct Debit To Vogue』収録曲。
今作のプロデュースは John Parish (Aldous Harding, PJ Harvey, Parquet Courts)。過去のソロ作とは違ってフォーク・チェンバーポップへ接近した音や雰囲気が魅力的です。
