ミシシッピ州ジャクソン拠点のインディーポップアーティスト Rose Haven Motor Hotelが、9/5にリリースしたEP『Just Peachy』より、'Just Fine, Thanks'を公開！
Rose Haven Motor Hotelはミュージシャン Ben Atkinsonによるソロプロジェクト。
複数のバンドの共同リーダーを務め、他のアーティストとのコラボレーションやプロデュースなどを行なってきた人物。2023年にデビューシングル 'Nebraska'、2024年にデビューEP『Things Don't Stay』を発表。
爽やかなメロディーと優美なペダルスティールが印象的な一曲。EPとしては、歪みで潰れたような質感のロックな曲もあって全体の空気感が好きです。
この曲 'Head in the Sand'も良かったな。

歌詞はEP全体を締めくくるテーマを要約しており、「大丈夫だ」と言い張りながら、その裏には大丈夫ではないものが潜んでいるという考えを描いています。
