オーストラリア/パース拠点のインディーフォークアーティスト Riley Pearceが、6/26にNettwerk Music Groupからリリースしたニューシングル 'Foundation'のリリックビデオを公開！
10/31発売のニューアルバム『The Weight Of Our Dreaming』収録曲で、共同プロデュースは Andy Lawson。
ここ数曲は父親になったことについての思いを歌ってたけど、仕事の面でもかなり大きな転機だったんですね。
“My management team and I parted ways at the end of 2023, and at the time I thought perhaps this is the beginning of the end of my music career, perhaps the decline starts now and things will slow to an eventual stop. It got me down for a little while, but I spent a lot of time by the ocean as the sun rose and something clicked in me that I should be the one to decide if that happens or not. It was definitely a blessing in disguise, I’ve changed a lot of how I work since and am in an incredibly happy place where I feel I can build a relationship with my music in my own way, creating something that lasts.”
