SZA, dhruv, Maggie Rogersのツアーキーボディストとして、Coachellaなどのフェスから The Tonight Show, SNLといったTV番組まであらゆる規模の舞台で活動してきたミュージシャンです。
'Best Friend'は11/11発売のデビューアルバムのタイトル曲。
地元ならではのグランジ感というか、ずっとノイズが乗ってるしドラムの位置やリバーブの質感も面白いし、それでいてメロディはキャッチーっていう不思議なバランスが最高です。
“This song is my nod to an indie rock/grunge childhood. Grunge was my first exposure to an alternative or underground culture, and was the first memory I have of another option of a type of adult to be. It was very powerful being a toddler in the Seattle-area, seeing grunge kids on the local news, on national TV, and on the street - it was ubiquitous and had a profound affect on the development of my world view. Writing a rock song like this was an act of fully arriving in myself.” - Puck
