テネシー州ナッシュビル拠点のインディーポップデュオ Poster Childが、12/6にSilver Tongue Soundからリリースしたニューシングル 'Lazy Bones'を公開！
Poster Childはボーカリスト・ソングライター Theresa Gorella、ギタリスト・ソングライター・プロデューサー Andrew Royalの2人組。2019年にデビューEP『Death Star Cadillac』を発表。
いつものファンク中心のサウンドから少し外れたゆったりめの楽曲。ほんのりBenny Sings感があるかも。
“The song follows a recluse who, in the wake of a tough breakup with their next-door neighbor, gets a bit fixated. Enlisting a local UPS driver, they start intercepting roses sent to the neighbor, hoping to outwit any new suitors.”
この曲は、隣人とのつらい別れをきっかけに、少し執着するようになった引きこもりを描いている。地元のUPSドライバーと手を組み、彼らは隣人に送られたバラの花を横取りし始め、新たな求婚者を出し抜こうとする。
