2020年のアルバム『Mirage on the Meadow』のミックスを、フロントマン・マルチインストゥルメンタリスト Keith Abramsが務めた際に、たまたまフィッシュマンズを聴いてその音像に夢中になり、2022年に正式な手順を踏んで『I LOVE FISH』というトリビュートアルバムまで作ったバンドです。ちゃんと30分超えの'LONG SEASON'もやってたりして。
キラキラしたシンセを散りばめたキャッチーな仕上がりで反復するメロディが好きです。
“Electric Fingertips” touches on feeling something you thought you were incapable of feeling, and wanting it to last forever, like a dream you don't want to wake up from. I like songs that feel like a journey, disregarding conventional structures, letting the song go where it wants to go. In a way, songs will sort of write themselves when they come out as naturally as that, which is precisely what happened with “Electric Fingertips”. - KC Abrams
