Night Night、'Five Birds'のMVを公開

オランダ拠点のインディーポップアーティスト Night Nightが、7/10にリリースしたニューシングル 'Five Birds'のMVを公開！

制作は Samuel Leeuwenburg, Amber Nefkens。

Night Nightはシンガーソングライター Amber Nefkensによるソロプロジェクト。

ユトレヒトを拠点に活動していたバンド INU INUのボーカルで、現在は森の中にある家の屋根裏部屋で作曲を行なっているとのこと。

'Five Birds'は近日発売予定のEP収録曲。

“This song uses the metaphor of birds to tell a poignant story about family, growing up, and the bittersweet necessity of letting go. It describes a tight-knit group of five where one person leaves early, disrupting the dynamic. Ultimately, the song highlights that while holding on to the past causes growth to stagnate ("when we all four stay, then we all four die"), true love means setting the others free to find their own path, even if it leaves you behind.”

この曲は鳥を比喩として使い、家族、成長、そして手放すことのほろ苦い必然性についての心に響く物語を歌っています。物語は、固い絆で結ばれた5人のグループのうち、1人が早々に去ることでその関係性が変化していく様子を描いています。最終的にこの曲が伝えているのは、過去に固執することは成長を停滞させる（「4人全員が留まれば、4人全員が死んでしまう」）一方で、たとえ自分だけが取り残されることになっても、相手を自由にさせ、それぞれの道を見つけさせることこそが真の愛だ、ということです。
