昨年のEP『Siren』ではJ Dilla由来の手法から少し距離を置いてSSWとしての深みをみせつけてくれた彼ですが、それ以降のシングルの侘び寂びっぷりが段違いで、チルでメランコリーな作風のなかに独自の色を感じさせる稀有な作家です。

“Beyond My Limits came together over just a couple of days. I'd had a challenging chat with a close friend who'd made me realise that, in some cases, it's more important to choose to be positive rather than right. The lyrics are pretty negative but this was my way of processing the conversation and getting it out of my system. Plus the beat slaps.”
