イングランド出身で、現在はイタリア/ローマ拠点のマルチインストゥルメンタリスト George Appletonによるソロプロジェクト Moon Blueが、3/14にFactory Flawsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Roma Starlight'を公開！
昨夏振りの新曲。
タイの Rats Recordsから支持を受け、Boy Pabloのレーベル 777と現在所属する Factory FlawsからデビューEPを出した人物。イタリアからイギリスへ行く人はたくさん見るけど逆パターンは案外少ないかも。
“I feel content and at peace. This felt like a distant dream when I started Moon Blue, but now I'm here. Despite being reminded daily of my slowly getting older, I realise that with the weight of this realisation, and the realisation that my friends are growing up and my family is getting on, there is a sense of liberation that comes with finally feeling that I’m coming into my own. ‘Roma Starlight’ is a reflection of this. I enrolled back at school and am a few years older than most of my classmates, and although that can be isolating, I'm totally at peace with it. Going through this whilst being in a city as old and as beautiful as Rome is humbling, and the song is about all of this. I’m getting older, but I'm also becoming wiser, happier and more at home in myself, whilst simultaneously living in one of the most beautiful and iconic cities in the world. I feel lucky and grateful to have this experience and feel that in a roundabout way, ‘Roma Starlight’ is about this”.
