メリーランド州カンバーランド出身のシンガーソングライター Michael Nau (Page France, Cotton Jones)が、Michael Nau & The Mighty Thread名義で8/3にリリースするニューアルバムから先行シングル 'Less Than Positive'を公開！
共同プロデューサーは Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Ryan Adamsのツアーメンバーの Benny Yurco。
個人的な話。Myspaceで Page Franceの'Chariot' (『Hello, Dear Wind』収録)を聴いてから10年？以上経って、そこそこのおじさんになった彼の歌声を、音楽を別の形として良いと感じられたことが嬉しかったですね。耳の中に閉じ込めて聴くのはもったいない気がして、なんかこう、夏の潮風に絡ませて聴きたいからレンタカーしよう。
リリースは Full Time Hobbyより。

"This song's been around and part of the live thing for a long time. I'm not sure how or why it came back around during this session, but it was recorded on the final day. The apartment where we recorded this album has a big spiral staircase in the entrance of the building - we set up drums in there for this one and hung a mic from the ceiling.
