イングランド/ロンドン拠点のシンガーソングライター MF Tomlinsonが、9/6にPRAH Recordingsからリリースしたニューシングル 'Winter Time Blues'のMVを公開！

'Winter Time Blues'は2/17発売のニューアルバム『We Are Still Wild Horses』収録曲。程よく枯れて熟成された旨味のようなものが出てます。ダンスと演劇を取り入れてるのも音と合っててかっこいい。
Yves Klein Blue, Many Things時代には Warpaint, Amen Dunes, Franz Ferdinand, The Polyphonic Spree, Justiceなどのサポートを務めたミュージシャンの現プロジェクト。
すでに MOTH Club, The Lexington, The Shacklewell Armsといった主要ベニューに出演し、Dry Cleaning, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Feverと共演しており、昨年発売されたデビューアルバム『Strange Time』も好内容だったので注目度が高まっている中での新作ですね。
“I think we've all had the Winter Time Blues - it's trying to express that deep feeling of sadness and frustration that creeps up on you. This an awakening to your own depressive state. It's a stormscape - seemingly placid and sleepy but underneath the surface menacing & sinister, seething and boiling over with chaos. I picture the climax of the song like a giant wave bearing down on a ship, with a huge cruel mouth trying to swallow it whole. Winter can be rough!”
