ニューヨーク出身のインディーロックバンド Loose Buttonsが、2/7にMoon Crawl Recordsからリリースするデビューアルバム『Something Better』より、先行シングル 'I Don't Really Know'を公開！
Loose Buttonsは Eric Nizgretsky, Zack Kantor, Manny Silverstein, Adam Holtzbergの4人組。短くはない活動歴と数枚のEPですでに知られた存在ですがフルレングスは今回が初で、Gus Oberg (The Strokes)がプロデュースを手掛けてます。
そんな気合の入りっぷりと「勝ちにいくぞ！」っていう勢いは他の収録曲( 'Fell Into A Hole'とか)で楽しむとして、今回の曲は彼らの音楽を好きになったきっかけである温かみのある歌心を強く感じましたね。今までで一番好きな曲です。
"Trying to succeed in an industry that hinges so much on what other people think of you can definitely drive you insane if you let it. So it seemed like it could do us some good to laugh at the situation rather than let it keep us up at night (it still does that too, don’t worry).
